What Neo QLED adds here
Neo QLED means two things working together. The Quantum Mini LED backlight uses much smaller emitters than a standard LED panel, so Supreme Mini LED Dimming can control brightness in far more areas of the screen and keep bright detail from washing out the black around it. The Quantum Dot layer then handles colour, with Color Booster Pro maintaining saturation as brightness climbs. The NQ4 AI Processor ties both to the source with 4K Upscaling and AI Customization.
Refresh rate, gaming and honesty
The panel is 50 Hz native on every size in this line, and Samsung lists a 120 Hz DLG mode only from 55 inches upward. The HDMI inputs run 4K at 60 Hz. The gaming features are still here: Game Bar, Super Ultra Wide Game View, Motion Xcelerator, ALLM, VRR, HGiG and Gaming Hub for cloud titles. They are useful for casual play, but anyone buying primarily for a current console should choose a model with a faster panel.
Sound, sockets and smart platform
Audio is 20 W over two channels with OTS Lite, Adaptive Sound+, Active Voice Amplifier for dialogue, and Q-Symphony to run a Samsung soundbar alongside the TV speakers. Connections cover three HDMI inputs with eARC on one, two USB-A sockets, Ethernet, Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.3.
