Description

HiddenFlush canopy design

The D75NAC1S0B is NEFF's N70 canopy hood, designed to sit hidden inside a flush-fitted cupboard above the hob. All you see is a slim black trim and the lighting; the extraction hardware lives out of sight. It suits kitchens where clean lines matter and a statement chimney hood would fight the design, and its 70cm width gives generous coverage over a standard hob.

Despite the discreet fit, extraction is serious. The hood moves up to 595 m³/h at its highest normal speed, with an intensive setting reaching 730 m³/h that automatically reverts after six minutes. Set up for recirculation instead, it manages 400 m³/h with the standard kit or 580 m³/h with NEFF's Clean Air Plus kit, so both installation routes stay genuinely effective.

Canopy hoods usually trade power for discretion; this one hides in the cupboard and still pulls 730 m³/h when the pan starts spitting.

Ideal For

Minimalist kitchens

Built into a cupboard with only a slim black fascia visible, it keeps sight lines clean in handleless and contemporary kitchen designs.

Serious cooking

With 595 m³/h in normal use and a 730 m³/h intensive mode, it handles stir-fries, searing and big family dinners without struggling.

Awkward layouts

Convertible operation and strong recirculation figures mean apartments and internal-wall kitchens still get effective air cleaning without external ducting.

Key Features

595 m³/h extraction

The top normal speed shifts 595 cubic metres of air an hour, comfortably clearing steam from a 70cm-wide cooking area.

730 m³/h intensive

For heavy frying or boiling, the intensive setting lifts extraction to 730 m³/h, then reverts automatically after six minutes.

Hidden canopy design

The hood integrates into a flush-fitted cupboard, measuring just 34.5cm high and 28.2cm deep, so it vanishes into the kitchen.

Strong recirculation

Fitted with the Clean Air Plus kit it recirculates at up to 580 m³/h, unusually high for a hood running on filters alone.

Class A efficiency

An A energy rating and A fluid dynamic class, with annual consumption of 55.5 kWh, keep daily extraction economical.

4000 K LED lighting

Two 1 W LEDs cast bright, neutral 4000 K light across the hob for accurate colour when checking how food is cooking.

Extraction without the visual noise

Not every kitchen wants a chimney hood as a centrepiece. The D75NAC1S0B takes the opposite approach: the whole unit slots into a 70cm cupboard above the hob, needing a niche just 34.5cm high and 26.4cm deep behind the door line. What remains visible is a black fascia with push-button controls and two LED lights. The design keeps wall units continuous, which is precisely what handleless and flat-fronted kitchens are trying to achieve.

Two installation routes, both credible

Ducted to the outside, the hood delivers its full 595 m³/h with the 730 m³/h intensive mode in reserve. Where ducting is impossible, recirculation through a carbon filter is often a disappointing compromise, but here the standard kit manages 400 m³/h and the Clean Air Plus kit raises that to 580 m³/h, close to the hood's ducted performance. That makes this canopy a realistic option for apartments and kitchens on internal walls.

Sized and specified for real cooking

A 70cm canopy gives wider capture than a standard 60cm hood, useful when pans crowd every ring. Three speeds cover everyday simmering through to rolling boils, and the intensive setting adds a six-minute burst for the messiest moments before stepping back down on its own. The washable aluminium grease filter rinses clean at the sink, the class A energy rating keeps consumption to 55.5 kWh a year, and clearances are standard: 50cm above electric hobs, 65cm above gas.

How It Compares

Kitchen Need NEFF Technology Practical Benefit
Handleless kitchens Hidden canopy design The hood lives inside a flush cupboard with only a slim fascia showing, keeping the run of units unbroken.
Wok and stir-fry 730 m³/h intensive setting A six-minute intensive burst clears sudden smoke and steam, then reverts to normal speed automatically.
No outside wall Clean Air Plus recirculation Recirculating at up to 580 m³/h, it stays effective where ducting to the outside is not an option.
Wide hob coverage 70cm canopy width Broader than a standard 60cm hood, it captures steam from front and back rings across a busy hob.
Daily economy Class A energy rating Annual consumption of 55.5 kWh keeps a hood you use every day from showing up on the bill.
Checking the pan 4000 K LED lighting Neutral white light over the hob shows food's true colour, from caramelising onions to browning pastry.

The Verdict

Strengths

  • 595 m³/h normal and 730 m³/h intensive extraction
  • Recirculates at up to 580 m³/h with Clean Air Plus kit
  • Fully concealed within a flush-fitted 70cm cupboard
  • Class A energy rating, 55.5 kWh annual consumption
  • Intensive setting auto-reverts after six minutes
  • Washable aluminium grease filter
  • Neutral 4000 K LED hob lighting

Considerations

  • This is a built-in canopy requiring cupboard installation above the hob; it cannot simply be hung on the wall like a chimney hood.
  • Carbon filters for recirculation and ducting kits for external venting are sold separately, so budget for the installation route you choose.
  • At the highest normal speed the noise level is 63 dB, which you will hear over conversation while it runs.
