NEFF N30 60cm Integrated Cooker Hood

A 60cm N30 integrated cooker hood with a powerful 625 cubic metres per hour of extraction and a class B energy rating, hidden neatly inside a kitchen cabinet.

The D64MAC1X0B is the high-output version of NEFF's N30 integrated hood. It disappears into a 60cm wall cabinet exactly like its stablemate, but its motor moves up to 625 cubic metres of air per hour — serious extraction for a discreet hood — while earning a class B energy rating. It suits kitchens that cook hard and hate lingering smells.

That airflow changes what the hood can cope with. Searing steak, stir-frying and big pots of boiling pasta produce steam and odour faster than modest hoods can clear; at full power this one turns the air over quickly enough to keep pace, then drops to 49 decibels at its lowest of three settings while dinner simmers.

Hidden in a cabinet but moving 625 cubic metres an hour, this is the hood for people who actually fry things.

Ideal For

Serious cooks

Up to 625 cubic metres per hour of ducted extraction keeps pace with frying, searing and wok cooking that would overwhelm a lower-powered hood.

Open-plan homes

Strong extraction stops cooking smells drifting into living space, and the 49-decibel low setting keeps background noise civil while food simmers.

Efficiency-minded buyers

A class B energy rating and 68.4 kWh annual consumption make it the efficient choice among integrated hoods, with washable filters keeping upkeep cheap.

Key Features

625 m³/h extraction

A high-output motor clears steam and odours quickly at full power, well beyond typical integrated-hood performance.

Class B efficiency

Rated B on the A+++ to D scale with 68.4 kWh annual consumption, unusual efficiency for this hood format.

49 dB low setting

Three speeds run from a quiet 49 decibels for simmering up to full power at 70 decibels for heavy cooking.

Integrated design

The body hides inside a 60cm wall cabinet with only the slim silver front on display.

Warm LED lighting

Two 3-watt LEDs light the hob with 188 lux at a warm 2700K colour temperature.

Washable grease filters

Two aluminium filter cassettes lift out and go back after washing, with no replacement filters to buy for extraction mode.

Power where you least expect it

Integrated hoods are usually the modest option, chosen for looks over lungs. The D64MAC1X0B breaks that rule: hidden inside a standard 60cm cabinet, it extracts up to 625 cubic metres of air per hour when ducted — the sort of figure associated with much larger chimney hoods. For kitchens where garlic, spices and hot oil are a nightly event, that headroom is the difference between a hood that copes and a hood that merely participates.

Strong without being wasteful

High airflow often comes with a poor energy label, but this hood manages a class B rating on the A+++ to D scale, with average consumption of 68.4 kWh a year. Its lighting is rated A for efficiency, using two 3-watt LEDs to put 188 lux of warm light on the worktop, and the blower earns a B. Combined with grease filters that wash and refit rather than needing replacements, it is a hood designed to run hard without running up costs.

Fit it your way, run it simply

Installation is flexible: duct it to the outside through 150mm pipework (120mm enclosed) for maximum performance, or fit the optional Z51IMA0X0 kit and recirculate filtered air at up to 416 cubic metres per hour where ducting is impossible. Day to day, control stays refreshingly simple — three mechanical push-button speeds and the light switch, nothing to sync or update. At 40.2cm tall, 59.9cm wide and 10.8kg, it suits standard kitchen furniture, and the low 49-decibel setting means leaving it running during a long simmer is no hardship.

The Verdict

Strengths

  • Powerful 625 m³/h maximum ducted extraction
  • Class B energy rating with 68.4 kWh annual use
  • Quiet 49 dB minimum of three speed settings
  • Hides inside a standard 60cm wall cabinet
  • Warm 2700K LED lighting at 188 lux
  • Two washable aluminium grease filters
  • Convertible to recirculation with optional kit

Considerations

  • At full power the noise level reaches 70 decibels, which you will hear over conversation during heavy extraction.
  • Recirculating use requires the optional Z51IMA0X0 kit, which is not included in the box.
  • Peak 625 m³/h performance depends on a good 150mm duct run to outside; recirculation tops out at 416 m³/h.

What's in the Box

  • Integrated cooker hood x1
  • Installation/user manual x1
