Description
NEFF N30 60cm Integrated Cooker Hood
A 60cm N30 integrated cooker hood that hides inside a kitchen cabinet, extracting up to 368 cubic metres of air per hour with warm LED worktop lighting.
The D61MAC1X0B is NEFF's N30 integrated cooker hood, designed to disappear into a 60cm wall cabinet above your hob. Only the slim front stays visible, keeping the kitchen's lines clean while the hood gets on with clearing steam and cooking smells. It suits everyday family cooking where you want effective extraction without a statement chimney hood.
Despite the discreet housing, it works properly. Three speed settings deliver up to 368 cubic metres per hour in ducted mode, and the hood converts to recirculation where ducting is not an option. Twin 3-watt LEDs cast 188 lux of warm 2700K light across the hob, and the two aluminium grease filters lift out for cleaning.
Ideal For
Built into a standard wall cabinet, the hood keeps sightlines clean and cabinet space above usable, with just a low-profile front on show.
Three speeds and up to 368 cubic metres per hour handle the steam and smells of daily family meals over a 60cm hob.
The convertible design works ducted to outside or, with the recirculating kit, filters and returns air where an external duct is impractical.
Key Features
Maximum ducted airflow of 368 cubic metres per hour clears steam and odours from a 60cm hob during everyday cooking.
The hood body hides inside a wall cabinet with only the front visible, preserving the run of your kitchen units.
Simple mechanical push buttons step the fan from gentle simmer extraction to full power for frying and boiling.
Two 3-watt LEDs deliver 188 lux at a cosy 2700K, lighting the hob properly without the blue cast of older lamps.
Two aluminium filter cassettes lift out and wash rather than needing replacement, keeping running costs down.
Convertible operation supports 150mm ducting (120mm enclosed) or recirculation with the optional Z51IMA0X0 kit.
Extraction that keeps out of sight
Integrated hoods trade visual presence for practicality: the D61MAC1X0B mounts inside the cabinet above your hob, so the kitchen keeps its unbroken line of doors and only a slim silver front hints there is a hood at all. At 59.9cm wide it pairs with a standard 60cm hob and cabinet, and at 10.3kg it is a manageable, well-proportioned fit for most kitchen furniture. If you dislike the look of chimney hoods, this is the quiet alternative.
Simple controls, honest performance
There are no touch panels or apps here — three mechanical push-button speeds and a light switch, which is precisely why hoods like this keep working for years. On full power it moves up to 368 cubic metres of air per hour in ducted mode, at a maximum of 62 decibels, and drops to gentler settings for simmering. The two aluminium grease filters catch airborne fat and go back in after a wash, so upkeep is minutes rather than money.
Two ways to clear the air
Every kitchen is different, so this hood works in either of the standard modes. Ducted to the outside through 150mm pipework (120mm enclosed), it removes steam and smells entirely from the house — the most effective option where an external wall is close. Where ducting is impractical, the optional Z51IMA0X0 recirculating kit filters grease and odours and returns the cleaned air to the room at up to 272 cubic metres per hour. Decide the mode at installation and the hood adapts; either way the warm LED lighting and washable filters stay the same.

The Verdict
Strengths
- Hides inside a standard 60cm wall cabinet
- Up to 368 m³/h ducted extraction
- Three simple mechanical speed settings
- Warm 2700K LED worktop lighting at 188 lux
- Two washable aluminium grease filters
- Convertible to recirculation with optional kit
- Light 10.3kg unit, straightforward to install
Considerations
- Recirculating use requires the optional Z51IMA0X0 kit, which is not included in the box.
- Energy efficiency class is D on the A+++ to D scale, so running costs are higher than premium hoods.
- Ducted operation needs a 150mm duct run to outside; without one, extraction rates drop to recirculating levels.
What's in the Box
