Edge is the Fitbit for people who want a screen but not a smartwatch the size of a coin. The Matte Black aluminium case is 39 x 26mm and under 12mm thick, the band clicks on and off with a latch, and the display stays readable in sunlight at adjustable brightness.
Cardio Load, Readiness, Active Zone Minutes and VO2 Max track fitness over time, and monthly blood pressure and insulin resistance trends are Health Guardian features in the Google Health app that Google lists as coming soon. It needs a Google Account and the Google Health app on Android 11 or later or iOS 16.4 or later.
