Description
The AD5X brings four-colour printing to a compact CoreXY printer. Its built-in Intelligent Filament System (IFS) holds four spools and switches between them automatically during a print, so figures, signs and gifts come off the plate in full colour without any painting.
It is just as handy for single-colour jobs: when one spool runs out, the AD5X carries on from the next, giving up to 4kg of filament for long prints. Set-up is a case of fitting the screen, the filament holder and the multicolour module, and automatic levelling takes care of the rest.
What stands out
Four colours from one nozzle
The integrated IFS feeds up to four colours or materials through a single nozzle and cleans the nozzle each time it switches, keeping colour edges crisp without mixing.
Fast CoreXY motion
The CoreXY structure travels at up to 600mm/s, prints at up to 300mm/s and accelerates at 20,000mm/s², keeping multicolour jobs moving.
Flexible multicolour prints
Multicolour printing works with TPU 64D too, for flexible designs such as wearables and soft figures in more than one colour.
Ready for more materials
The hotend reaches 300°C and the bed 110°C, printing PLA, PETG, TPU and carbon-fibre-filled PLA-CF and PETG-CF on a flexible PEI steel sheet.
Simple to run
A 4.3-inch colour touchscreen, automatic levelling, filament detection and power-outage recovery make it easy to live with from the first print onwards.
Manage it from your desk
Send prints over Wi-Fi, Ethernet or USB, and use Flash Maker or Orca-Flashforge to keep track of jobs and manage several printers from one dashboard. An optional camera kit adds remote monitoring.
