Description
Corsair pitched the HS55 Wireless at players who want a wireless headset that disappears on the head. The plush ear pads and lightweight frame keep pressure off, and the white and grey finish suits a tidy desk as much as a dark battle station.
On PC, iCUE adds a custom equaliser, sidetone control and NVIDIA Broadcast noise removal for the microphone. On PlayStation it simply works through the USB receiver. The box holds the headset, the USB transmitter and the charging cable.
What stands out
2.4GHz wireless and Bluetooth
Low-latency wireless through the USB receiver for PC and PlayStation, Bluetooth for phones and laptops, switched with one button.
Up to 24 hours of play
Up to 37 hours over Bluetooth, and 15 minutes of charging gives six hours.
266g lightweight build
Memory foam ear pads and an adjustable headband for long sessions.
Dolby Audio 7.1 surround
Virtual surround on PC and Mac through iCUE, driven by 50mm neodymium drivers.
Flip-to-mute microphone
Omni-directional mic that mutes when you lift it, with NVIDIA Broadcast noise removal on PC.
Corsair iCUE
Custom equaliser, sidetone and surround settings, with the rest of a Corsair setup.
