A 45cm-high compact oven that combines 4D Hotair with steam up to 120 °C, giving you a second oven that bakes, steams and air fries.
The CSG7361B1 is a Series 8 compact oven built for the 60 by 45 cm housing that usually sits above or below a full-size oven. Inside is a 47-litre cavity with 21 heating methods, a full steam system and an Air Fry mode. It is aimed at people who cook seriously enough to want a second cavity and would rather it did something the main oven cannot.
Steam Function Plus runs gentle cooking at up to 120 °C with three selectable steam levels, so fish and vegetables hold their shape and colour. Steam Boost adds three minutes of intensive steam at the press of a button, which is the step that gives bread its crust. Control is by an enlarged TFT Touch Display Plus and a Digital Control Ring, with Home Connect for app control.

Why a compact oven earns its space
A 60 by 45 cm housing is a common gap in a modern kitchen run, and it is usually filled with something limited. This one is not. Twenty-one heating methods, a 47-litre cavity, full steam and Air Fry mean the compact slot can handle a whole meal on its own, or take the side dishes while the main oven deals with the roast. On the days you are cooking for two, it is the only oven you need to switch on.
Steam, boost and the crust question
Steam is doing two different jobs here. Steam Function Plus is the gentle mode, cooking at up to 120 °C with three selectable intensities, which is how you steam fish without it falling apart or reheat rice without drying it. Steam Boost is the opposite instinct: a three-minute burst of intensive steam dropped into a hot bake, so the dough stays elastic while it rises and then crisps into a crust. Three steam containers are supplied, two punched and one solid.
Installation, controls and living with it
The oven measures 45.5 by 59.4 by 54.8 cm and drops into a niche 45.0 to 45.5 cm high, 56.0 to 56.8 cm wide and 55.0 cm deep. At 32.8 kg it is a two-person lift, and the total connected load is 3.3 kW. Day to day, the enlarged TFT Touch Display Plus and Digital Control Ring do the work, with Home Connect and the Oven Assistant available if you want app control or voice prompts. Cleaning is an EcoClean Direct coated back panel plus a hydrolytic programme.
