Description
Nine kilograms covers the big loads: a duvet cover and the sheets together, or the whole family's week in two or three washes. The Belling BFW914 pairs that capacity with an inverter motor for quieter running and a 1400rpm spin that leaves laundry noticeably drier at the end of the cycle.
A steam function refreshes clothes and helps loosen creases between full washes, and the machine carries the top class A rating on the current EU energy label with an efficiency index of 52. On the Eco 40-60 programme it uses 50 litres of water a cycle, finishes a full load in 3 hours 48 minutes and leaves 54% residual moisture for a class B spin-drying rating, with spin noise of 76dB, also class B. It stands 85cm tall and 60cm wide in white.
What stands out
9kg capacity
Bedding, towels and a week of family clothes in fewer loads, with a 1400rpm spin to leave them drier.
Inverter motor
An inverter motor keeps running noise down; the spin phase is rated class B at 76dB.
Steam function
Steam refreshes clothes and helps release creases, so a shirt or a jacket worn once can be freshened without a full wash.
Class A energy
Rated A on the current EU label with an energy efficiency index of 52, and 50 litres of water per Eco 40-60 cycle.
Class B spin drying
At 1400rpm the Eco 40-60 programme leaves 54% residual moisture, which shortens the time on the line or in the dryer.
Freestanding in white
85cm tall and 60cm wide, with a front-loading door, a programme dial and an LED display.
