Description
The Belling BFDW15WH is the white version of Belling's 14-place freestanding dishwasher: 60cm wide, 85cm tall and 60cm deep, so it slides into a standard gap beside the kitchen units. Two baskets and a sliding cutlery tray take a full family load, and the upper basket moves up or down on ball-bearing wheels to make room for tall glasses above or large pans below.
The LED panel offers eight programmes. Auto reads the soil level and adjusts the wash, ECO is the low-cost everyday choice, Intensive deals with roasting tins, Glass is gentler on stemware, Soak loosens dried-on food, and the Rapid programme finishes in 40 minutes with a 90-minute option in between. Half Load, Extra Dry and delay start are there when needed, and the door swings open on its own at the end so the steam escapes and the drying finishes naturally. Rated D for energy, it uses 85kWh per 100 eco cycles and 10 litres of water per wash, and it runs at 47dB.
What stands out
Room for 14 place settings
Two baskets and a sliding cutlery tray hold a week's worth of plates, pans and glasses, and the height-adjustable upper basket makes space where you need it.
Eight programmes
Auto, Intensive, Universal, ECO, Glass, 90 Min, Rapid and Soak, with the Auto programme sensing how dirty the load is and adjusting the cycle to match.
Rapid wash in 40 minutes
For dishes needed again soon, the Rapid programme finishes in 40 minutes; the 90-minute programme suits everyday loads.
Auto door opening
The door releases at the end of the programme so steam escapes and the load dries in fresh air.
Half Load, Extra Dry and delay start
Save water and energy when the baskets are not full, add a longer drying phase, or set the machine to start later.
Clear LED controls
Programme and option buttons sit either side of a digital display on the front fascia.
Class D, 47dB
85kWh per 100 eco cycles, 10 litres of water a wash and 47dB running.
