Audio-Technica AT-SP3X Powered Bluetooth Bookshelf Speakers, Black | AT-SP3X

Compact powered bookshelf speakers with Bluetooth 5.3, dual RCA inputs and 30W maximum output.

Power30W max
WirelessBluetooth 5.3
Response55 Hz–20 kHz
InputsBluetooth + RCA

AT-SP3X combines built-in amplification with Bluetooth and analogue RCA connectivity in a compact stereo pair. The 76 mm woofers and 27 mm tweeters are housed in dedicated left and right speakers.

The system supports Bluetooth 5.3 and multipoint pairing, while dual RCA inputs keep traditional wired sources in the mix. It is designed to work without a separate power amplifier when fed a suitable line-level signal.

Powered simplicity: one compact stereo system for both Bluetooth and analogue line-level sources.

Ideal For

Desktop Audio

Compact powered speakers for a computer or work area.

Turntable Setups

A direct RCA option for a compatible line-level or preamplified turntable source.

Wireless Listening

Bluetooth 5.3 for phones, tablets and other compatible sources.

Key Features

Maximum Output

The pair is rated for 30W maximum output.

Woofer

Each speaker uses a 76 mm woofer.

Tweeter

Each speaker uses a 27 mm tweeter for the upper frequencies.

Bluetooth

Bluetooth 5.3 supports convenient wireless playback.

Multipoint Pairing

Multipoint pairing lets the system stay connected to two compatible Bluetooth devices.

Analogue Inputs

Dual RCA analogue inputs support a direct wired line-level connection.

Flexible Source Switching

Use Bluetooth for compatible wireless devices or the dual RCA inputs for a wired source. Multipoint pairing adds convenience when two Bluetooth devices share the speakers.

Designed as a Complete Pair

Amplification is built in, and the speakers are linked as a stereo pair. That keeps the system compact and reduces the amount of extra hi-fi hardware required.

How It Compares

Unlike passive bookshelf speakers, AT-SP3X includes amplification and Bluetooth connectivity. It is therefore designed as a more self-contained option for compatible line-level and wireless sources.

The Verdict

Strengths

  • Powered stereo pair with no separate power amplifier required
  • Bluetooth 5.3 with multipoint pairing
  • Dual RCA analogue inputs

Considerations

  • Bluetooth codec support is SBC
  • A turntable without a built-in phono stage still needs suitable phono amplification
